The YES-AZ Finance committee is responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of the caucus. Responsibilities of the Finance Committee include, but are not limited to; keeping accurate and transparent records of all caucus income and expenses, maintaining a record of all financial documents, drafting the caucus budget, maintaining a list of all dues paying caucus members, making all caucus purchases approved by the SC, coordinating with the AZGP Treasurer, organizing all caucus fundraising events, giving regular detailed reports of caucus finances to the YES-AZ Steering Committee.
The YES-AZ Action Committee is responsible for the planning, organizing, and coordinating of all of the caucus' direct and indirect political actions, including but not limited to; mutual aid efforts, protests, phone banking, canvassing, voter registration, petitioning, combined actions with other organizations, campaign work for YES-AZ/AZGP endorsed candidates, etc. Members of our Action Committee are expected to act as responsible representatives of our caucus at all YES-AZ events, actions, and meetings, and should prioritize the safety and well-being of all members and participating community members at any YES-AZ sponsored actions.
The YES-AZ Education Committee is responsible for the political education of both our caucus' membership and our fellow community members in the principles of EcoSocialist/Green political history, theory and philosophy. The Education Committee shall research, collect, and archive an organized and accessible internal caucus library of EcoSocialist/Green learning resources, as well as creating their own original educational resources in cooperation with the Media/Outreach Committee. Other responsibilities of the Education Committee include hosting all caucus educational events, guest speakers, seminars/webinars, and YES-AZ Town Halls.
The YES-AZ Media/Outreach Committee is responsible for the caucus' overall voice, branding, and outreach to the local community through the use of both digital and traditional media. This includes, but is not limited to; the creation, maintenance, and growth of YES-AZ's various social media platforms, the creation and maintenance of the caucus website, creation and distribution of any physical promotional content (such as flyers, mailers, table banners, postcards, etc.), designing the monthly caucus newsletter, advertisement of caucus, county, and state party meetings/events, promotion of candidates and campaigns endorsed by YES-AZ/AZGP, and more.
